Small Business Enterprise – Why You Want It?

Small business started off because we want

  1. to more time to ourselves and flexible
  2. to do what we enjoy or love to do
  3. just do it when sees an business opportunity
  4. to make more money

From these desires, we started our small business. The small business could be you are the owner as sole-proprietor or a partnership of two to three persons. You may wonder what the rate of success would be when we initiate the small business as of the motive mentioned.

  1. to more time to ourselves and flexible: 33%
  2. to do what we enjoy or love to do: 55%
  3. just do it when sees an business opportunity: 45%
  4. to make more money: 8%You would note that passion or your love to do something would take off much better as you would preserve to make it in small business. But the reality is that when you do small business, you still need to make a profit. Profit is the bloodline. Therefore you still need to find the right fit.

What you can do well and who needs your product and service. What so uniqueness about your service. What benefits would you bring to them? So do what you like and make it pay. Consumers or customers would enjoy paying if you can offer what they need most or what they would desire to have. That’s how partnership started.

We knew of a young lady who always hunting for good buy. She noticed that there is a shop who sell branded goods but oddment. From her first experience, she started to search more of such shops selling shoes, handbags, shirts, blouses, pants, inner wear and make-up products as well as skin care products. She compiles the information and put up on the net to share “Best buy in town”. She quitted her job and took off this small business.

Her small business targets at general public that sign on to be her members to receive her periodic update. Meanwhile she also works closely with these shop owners to put up their latest buy and stock. She started of her small business by sharing information and earning commission from these shop owners when her members presented their membership code.

The second story on small business is about this guy who is good at baking cakes. So his wife discussed him to start the small business by baking cakes at home while she do the contact and getting around taking orders. She instilled a fax machine and go through the classified advertisement on job vacancies. She managed her small business by getting the names of the staff responsible for recruitment. She offers her service and cakes at a special price, strictly for this person. Why? Her strategy is to get Human Resources staff who is responsible for staff welfare to enjoy the benefits. This Human Resources staff becomes her spoke-person. So the husband and wife team started off their small business. The delivery is done by the logistic firm with a small fee paid by the clients.

From the above perspective, you would want to know how you want your lifestyles, enjoy what you want most – time and joy but the business must be profitable and able to support your lifestyles.

“Live life better today” as most of us what to treasure the moment together.

We also notice that some professionals want to serve the community or rather want do something good for the people. These entrepreneurs want to have a profitable company but at the same time they want to create products that benefit the society.

One of them said that “I want to do more than social work by creating a company who products benefit the community”. He created the small business by serving the community.

When you created a company, you need to know the mission and vision of the company. It would be better if you could establish your values as customer service values. That would take you off on the right path as the owner of small business.
